Kind of a small thing but whatever

This is going to be a very short post.

This post isn't going to break any daring new ground, but that's kind of what I like about it. I wanted to jump on my keyboard for five minutes and share an affordable little pick-me-up I really love with you - the way we used to back in 2010 when all our blogs were written in comic sans and the phrase 'blog photography' conjured thoughts of dodgy lighting and DIY tripods. Do any of you remember that? There were good and bad things about it I guess, but I miss the uncalculating way everyone wrote back then. There was no thought for how shareable or clickable anything was. No one ever used the word 'content' or titles like 'the 14 must have bags you need to know about for spring'. I didn't start blogging 'til 2014ish, but seriously, what a glorious time it was to be on the internet. So in the spirit of 2010-style un-self-conscious blogging I want to tell you about this shower gel. I spotted it while perusing the aisles of my local Tesco Metro (don't hate me cos you ain't me) and had to have it. Cherry bakewell is my all time favourite desert, and I love anything almond scented. Also, sometimes it's nice to find joy in the small things and, take pleasure in something super affordable. Diptyque is nice and everything, but so is pastry scented shower gel. Get yourself some next time you stock up on milk. xx
